Ant and Dec 'sign up' star for next year's I'm A Celebrity

Ant and Dec have 'offered' a social media and podcast star GK Barry a place on the line-up for next year's I'm A Celebrity after they were inundated with requests from fans to have her on their Instagram lives.

The new series of the ITV show is now nearing its conclusion, with less than a week to go now until th e I'm A Celebrity final as Jill Scott and Owen Warner are now pretty much neck and neck in the odds to win. Two stars have now been voted out of the jungle, with Charlene White going first on Friday night, before a devastated Scarlette Dougla s followed her out of camp on Sunday, telling Ant and Dec that some of her co-stars wanted to leave.

Every night, after credits roll on the ITV programme, Ant and Dec head straight to Instagram to conduct a chat with their many social media followers. But, as well as chatting to fans, the hosts have also been joined by a few familiar faces,. including Stephen Mulhern and Nick Grimshaw, who have been forthcoming with their opinions.

Fans have been throwing suggestions to the Geordie duo as to who they should have on their lives and one of the names that kept cropping up was was GK Berry, the host of the massively successful podcast Saving Grace. Giving into the demands, Ant and Dec invited GK onto their Insta live after Scarlette's exit on Sunday, and had a very forward request for her. As she joined them on a split screen, Dec remarked: "So listen,. when we've been doing jungle club after the show, we've asked who should do the show next year; we've had loads of people going GK Barry, GK Barry, GK Barry....would you do it?"

She issued a very direct response, saying: "Listen...if there's pound signs I'll be there," with her answer promoting a loud chuckle from Ant.
