Auxerre vs PSG score, result, highlights as Mbappe puts visitors on the Ligue 1 title brink

PSG are now just one point away from defending their Ligue 1 title this season after a Kylian Mbappe inspired 2-1 win at Auxerre.

Mbappe was in sensational form, with his early double putting PSG in control, and brought the Les Bleus captain up to 28 league goals for the season.

Auxerre did rally after the restart, as Lassine Sinayoko steered them back into the contest, and Gianluigi Donnarumma was forced to make two key late stops.

A draw at Strasbourg next weekend will see PSG over the line with Auxerre facing a battle to avoid relegation in the run-in.

Victory tonight will put PSG to within one point of confirming their Ligue 1 title defence.

40th Min: PSG have eased off the gas, following an incredible opening, and Auxerre will sense they can get something after the restart.....if they can shackle Mbappe.

15th Min: Mbappe has a half chance to score a first half hat trick, but Auxerre recover and clear, and PSG keep up the pressure.
