BBC reality star Jasmine Burkitt’s cause of death has been revealed. Jasmine's heartbroken fiancé has paid tribute at her inquest.

Jasmine died after being found unresponsive in a tent she was living in. The BBC Three reality show Small Teen Bigger World star was found by her fiance's mum.

Jasmine, aged 28, was in a relationship with fiance Lewis Burke at the time of her death. Her provisional cause of death was given as cardiac failure.

A toxicology report found levels of an antipsychotic drug used to treat conditions such as depression, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder were present. Lewis said: "She is the most incredible human that ever walked this planet, she is the strongest, funniest, most kindest and purely decent person I've ever known.

"I am truly devastated. She changed my life forever and I'll never be the same." Senior coroner for North Wales east and central, John Gittins told the court there had been a "decline" in Ms Burkitt's mental health prior to her death.

He said several attempts were made to revive her, but sadly they were unsuccessful. A full inquest is set to be held in early 2023. Prior to that, further investigations will take place into the circumstances surrounding Ms Burkitt's death.
