Birmingham City 'close in' on third Man United transfer as they eye Amad Diallo
Birmingham City are reportedly closing in on a loan deal for Manchester United winger Amad Diallo.
The 19-year-old has been given the green light to find game time away from Old Trafford this month after only making one senior appearance this season.
Amad started in United's 1-1 draw against Young Boys in the Champions League last month.
The attacker is set to leave the club on loan until the end of the end of the season and the Mirror claim he is Birmingham bound.
Lee Bowyer is keen to bolster his squad after losing two creative forces in Riley McGree (end of loan) and Tahith Chong (injury). United loanee Chong is set to return to St. Andrew's in due course, but the arrival of Amad will certainly add quality to Bowyer's side.
The former Atalanta winger has found opportunities limited this season since joining from the Serie A club last season.
Amad was the subject of a £19m fee just 12 months ago and was given immediate exposure under former Red Devils’ boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Bowyer said he needs more signings after being knocked out of the FA Cup by Plymouth today.
“We are trying, I feel we needed them yesterday not tomorrow, now we are out of the cup and we have just got to concentrate on the league," he said.
“We have got five games in 15-16 days, if we don’t bring in bodies to help, guess what, you are going to get more and more injuries – then we will be in trouble. We have to take one at a time but we need players in."
