Calvin Harris and Vick Hope get married in lavish 'Glastonbury-themed' bash
Scots DJ Calvin Harris and Radio 1's Vick Hope tied the knot over the weekend at a glamorous bash surrounded by some of their A-lister pals.
Calvin, 39, and Vick, 33, exchanged personal vows and listened to poems at the outdoor ceremony in Northumberland. The couple and their guests then danced the night away at a 'Glastonbury-themed' after-party, with Nile Rodgers and Chic on hand to provide the music.
Big Brother presenter AJ Odudu and BBC radio DJs Vernon Kay, Scott Mills and Jordan North were among those attending.
Music legend Nile kicked off with Luther Vandross’s 1981 song Never Too Much and also belted out hits by Madonna, Beyoncé, Pharrell Williams and David Bowie before wrapping up his set with his 1979 hit Good Times.
As reported by The Sun, the stylish event held at Hulne Priory, Alnwick, Northumberland featured teepees with log burners that offered places to relax as guests could stay on site in 80 fancy tents and watch the organised firework display light up the skies.
Fast food stands also dotted around served burgers, pizzas and Nigerian dishes, which was a nod to Vick's heritage.
A source told the The Sun: “Calvin and Vick’s wedding was a day none of their guests will ever forget.
“They didn’t stop smiling all day. Calvin and Vick are so clearly madly in love, it was a truly beautiful day.”
The couple have kept their relationship out of the public spotlight since sparking romance and got engaged last summer after being spotted sharing a kiss in Ibiza. The news of their engagement surprised fans last May after Vick was pictured with a huge rock on her wedding finger at the Chelsea Flower Show.
A source told the MailOnline at the time: "Calvin and Vick’s relationship has moved quickly but they’re smitten with each other.
"They could not be happier and are already planning their wedding, which is set to take place in Ibiza, where they grew close during Vick’s secret visits to the White Isle. After keeping their relationship private, they decided to go public at the Chelsea Flower Show on Monday, They want everyone to now know their happy news."
