Carol Vorderman posts incredible gym selfies as friends and fans fawn over her

Carol Vorderman continues in her apparent quest to be a low-key social media sensation after posting amazing pictures of herself in gym gear.

Showing off the impressive results of her hard work, the 61-year-old TV star, who covered for Lorraine Kelly on her show in June, wore her long blonde hair loose as she pumped her arm for a selfie in the gym mirror.

Dressed in leopard-print leggings and an orange and purple sports bra, Carol displayed some seriously taut abs as she spoke about her current exercise regime.

‘Spending a fair bit of time in the gym here….learning new routines thanks to @sarahwillingham and @robrinder too 💪🏼💪🏼💙💙,’ she captioned her photos.

In another snap she showed off her neon orange Stella McCartney trainers, while she also posted her pictures to her Stories, adding: ‘Lots of abs and upper bod today.’

Many of her fans and famous pals flocked to the comments to praise the star and her physique, with former Olympian Dame Kelly Holmes writing: ‘Wow looking so good 🔥’

‘Wow you look incredible 🔥 – such an inspiration,’ pointed out one of Carol’s followers, while another posted: ‘Glowing ❤️’

Carol is currently on a health retreat in Portugal, run by self-proclaimed ‘juice master’ Jason Vale.

She has posted various updates from her stay there, which is now in its third week, as she shared she was spending most of her time on ‘yoga, gym, swimming and paddleboarding and chilling out’.

In a video shared on Saturday, the former Countdown presenter published some footage of herself doing ‘paddleboarding improv’ as she joked about her difficulties.

‘Very gusty and bouncy on the water so no standing up…,’ she wrote.



‘A bit of dancing and core workout…..cycling….leg lifts….tried a shoulder stand but my life jacket got in the way….Just as well 😂😂,’ she added as the footage played out over the Hawaii Five-O TV show theme tune.

She previously caused a stir earlier in August when she appeared to announce she had joined TikTok while topless.

Seeing the funny side of things, Carol was quick to reveal that was not the case, as she was just wearing a bikini that was a very convincing skin tone.

‘Laughing… but I AM NOT TOPLESS,’ she edited the beginning of her caption to clarify.
