Carragher sends Bellingham message to Liverpool as Diaz repeat considered
Jamie Carragher believes his former club Liverpool could bring forward their transfer plans for the summer to January - just like they did when signing Luis Diaz from Porto in the winter.
The Colombia international was a target for the Reds for the previous summer, but Tottenham Hotspur pursued the forward in January and it forced the Reds into action as they didn't want to lose their man.
Liverpool are said to be targeting a move for Borussia Dortmund's Jude Bellingham in the summer, but Carragher thinks the Reds could start the reconstruction of their faltering midfield in the winter transfer window.

With Dortmund rumoured to be valuing the 19-year-old at £130 million, Liverpool could well be priced out of a deal, but that fee could rise even higher if Bellingham goes on to have a fantastic season in Germany.
The likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid are all said to be keeping a close eye on the teenager, who has turned into one of the most sought after players in world football.
Carragher told TalkSPORT : "Well I've seen the links, of course, but I just hope they're true. No one knows, do they? But there's no doubt that Liverpool will have a huge job in the summer, or whether that's in January, in terms of reconstructing their midfield.
"Just because of the age profile of a lot of the midfield players and also the fact that I think there's two or three players out of contract at the end of the season. So before you ever even think about the actual quality of maybe something extra that they need, it's obvious because of the situation the club finds itself in that they'll need two or three midfield players in the summer.
"And if Jude Bellingham is one of them, fantastic, because he is a great player. And as I said, there's going to be a lot of rumours between now and the end of the season with different midfield players. I just hope that one's true."
