Christine McGuinness and Chelcee Grimes share a smooch at Winter Wonderland

Christine McGuinness has grown close to Chelcee Grimes since her break-up, and the pair have now been spotted sharing a sweet kiss at Winter Wonderland.

Following her split from husband Paddy McGuinness earlier this year, Christine, 34, is said to have been leaning on Chelcee, 30, for support.

And it seems their friendship might have blossomed into something more, as they only had eyes for each other during their festive outing in London.

The pair were spotted spending the evening together at the Christmas event in Hyde Park, with the sighting coming after Chelcee and Christine reportedly enjoyed a getaway together in Crete.

As they sat down to enjoy hot drinks, both had their eyes closed while sharing a smooch, wrapped up warm in winter outfits and in full view of other revellers.

Other snaps captured the duo beaming with pride after winning cuddly toys and teddies on the park’s carnival games before walking away, linking arms.

Christine was certainly dressed for the weather in a woolly white hat and black leather jacket, while Chelcee donned a chunky jumper and gloves.

After catching a glimpse of Christie and Chelcee’s night out, an onlooker said: ‘It was a sweet moment between Christine and Chelcee as they sat on a bench outside and enjoyed live music.

‘They were wearing similar woolly hats and even had a little dance at one point. They seemed to be living in the moment and soaking up the festive atmosphere.’

They added to The Sun: ‘Christine and Chelcee were both all smiles as they walked off hand-in-hand.’

Chelcee is said to have been a ‘huge support’ for Christine after her split with long-time husband Paddy, with who she shares three children: twins Leo and Penelope, nine, and Felicity, six.

The pals first met when they were co-stars on ITV show The Games, an Olympic-style challenge programme, broadcast in early 2022.

The competition saw a crop of celebrities take part in a series of events across a week of live broadcasting, however, despite proving popular with fans, it was confirmed to have been axed after just one season.

A source also previously gave fans an insight into model Christine’s friendship with singer-songwriter Chelcee, friendship, telling The Sun: ‘Christine and Chelcee hit it off straight away and love spending time with each other.

‘They have just enjoyed another sun-filled break together but also hang out a lot at home.’

The source added that Chelcee is a regular at Christine’s home ‘when their schedules allow it’.

When announcing her split from TV presenter Paddy, 49, in July, the exes both said it was a ‘difficult’ decision after 11 years of marriage.

In a joint statement, they said: ‘We hadn’t planned on sharing this publicly until we were ready but after the lack of privacy surrounding our personal life, we feel left with no other option but to clarify.

‘A while ago we took the difficult decision to separate but our main focus as always is to continue loving and supporting our children. This was not an easy decision to make but we’re moving forward as the best parents we can be for our three beautiful children.

‘We’ll always be a loving family, we still have a great relationship and still live happily in our family home together. We hope this now draws a line under anymore unwanted and unnecessary intrusion into our private life.

‘Although we work in the public eye we ask kindly if you could respect our wishes for privacy on this matter. We’ll be making no further comment. Loads of love. Paddy & Christine.’
