Derek Chisora responds to Tyson Fury announcing trilogy fight for boxing return

Derek Chisora has implored Tyson Fury to "stop talking s***" after the world heavyweight champion announced that the pair would be having a trilogy fight.

Fury has confirmed his plans to come out of his retirement and have a third fight with Chisora, which he had always promised to his long-standing rival. The pair fought for the British title in 2011 and 2014, with the Manchester native coming out on top in both of their meetings first by decision and then by stoppage in the rematch.

But Chisora believes that the deal is far from done, telling Fury that he first needs to speak to his promoters Frank Warren and Bob Arum in order to make the fight official. The world heavyweight champion has been on a speaking tour of the UK in recent weeks, and hasn't been in frequent communication with Arum and Warren, but has been flip-flopping on his retirement.

"Tyson, stop talking s**** mate," Chisora said in a video posted to social media. "Phone mummy and daddy, mummy is Frank Warren daddy is f****ng Bob Arum. Tell them you want to hang out with me and send me the paperwork b****, yeah?"

Fury hit back at Chisora in a video briefly after Chisora's update, declaring that he doesn't need to speak to Warren or Arum. He also promised that a contract would be arriving within the week for his former friend to sign.

"Derek, you asked for the boss so they sent me, dog," Fury said in an Instagram video. "I don't need to speak to anybody, I spoke to your management team, they're all good, everything's sorted and looking good. Contract will be over in a day or so, peace out."

Chisora just snapped a three-fight losing skid by defeating Kubrat Pulev at The O2 arena in London last month, and could now be set for a world title opportunity. His losses were against current unified champion Oleksandr Usyk and former champion Joseph Parker twice, so he has remained around the world level despite his defeats.

Fury claims that he will be switching up his camp for the fight, announcing earlier today that he will replace SugarHill Steward in his corner with long-time pal Isaac Lowe. The featherweight has lost his last two bouts, and could be flirting with a move into coaching and life after fighting.

"I've decided to come back to boxing because I can become the first heavyweight champion in history to have two trilogies; one with Deontay Wilder and the second one with Derek Chisora," Fury told Andy Lee in an earlier video today.

"I always said I'd fight Derek Chisora at the end of my career and here we are, breaking all records again and setting precedents. Why I've chosen Isaac Lowe as my trainer is that while I was with Peter [Fury], Isaac was there, while I was with Ben [Davison], Isaac was there and when I was with SugarHill he was always there.

"He gives me information, he knows me better than anybody on the planet and we're a great team. We've always been together and we're going to finish this out together. We've always worked very well together and here we are, about to take on a massive, massive event."
