Dr Karl legend Alan Fletcher arrives in EastEnders after Neighbours finale
Dr Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher) has surprisingly swapped Ramsay Street for Walford in a special EastEnders clip.
To pay tribute to the show, which ends tonight on Channel 5, the iconic character pops into the café looking for a taxi out of Albert Square.
It’s the best way to leave, of course.
Linda (Kellie Bright), who expresses her sadness over Neighbours ending moments before, absolutely cannot believe she is in the same room as Doctor Karl Kennedy!
Way too overexcited, Linda leaps to her feet and asks Whitney (Shona McGarty) to take a selfie of her and Karl.
As Karl exits, the clip transitions into the cast members saying goodbye to the Australian soap.
The stars sending moving messages to the Neighbours cast and crew are Tameka Empson (Kim Fox), Max Bowden (Ben Mitchell), Balvinder Sopal (Suki Panesar), Natalie Cassidy (Sonia Fowler), Charlie Brooks (Janine Butcher), Kim Medcalf (Sam Mitchell), Gurlaine Kaur Garcha (Ash Panesar), Jamie Borthwick (Jay Brown) and Danny Dyer (Mick Carter).
While the last episode of Neighbours airs in the UK tonight, over in Australia, they have already said goodbye.
According to TV Tonight, a massive 837,000 people tuned in across the country, with the Herald Sun reporting the emotional episode averaged at 1.2 million nationally and peaked at 1.41 million – meaning the finale attracted the biggest Australian audience in over 13 years.
