Sonny Finch, Bobby Clark and Jobe Bellingham all find the net during England men's under-18s' final game of the international window

England men’s under-18s ended their trip to Croatia with a win, after beating Switzerland by 3-1 in Pula on Monday afternoon.

This was the MU18s’ third match of the international window, following on from a 2-1 win over hosts Croatia on Wednesday and a 3-0 loss against Belgium on Friday afternoon.

Head coach Neil Ryan made seven changes to his starting XI for this afternoon’s match, which had been delayed by three hours due to the pitch at Jadran Porec being waterlogged.

And England made an electric start to the game as they took the lead inside the opening minute through Sonny Finch, but unfortunately the Middlesbrough youngster was forced off with an injury in the process.

Switzerland equalised but the Young Lions regained their advantage just before the break when Bobby Clark picked up a rebound following Chelsea striker Leo Castledine’s saved shot.

The sealed the win midway through the second half as Jobe Bellingham got his second goal of the trip to add England’s third and ensure they head home on the back of a victory.
