With the Premier League and Championship teams in waiting, the ties for second round of the FA Cup have all but been confirmed after first round replays, with a whole host of Greater Manchester clubs involved on Tuesday.

Bolton Wanderers to travel to Stockport County on Wednesday to finalise the second round line-up, with several North West teams taking their place already.

Wigan Athletic,Rochdale, Oldham Athletic and Altrincham were all in cup action looking to seal their place in the next stage of the competition and move to within at least 90 minutes of potentially facing Premier League opposition.

Leam Richardson's side were live on ITV4 and went into the clash with Solihull Moors rejuvenated after a week's break following four international involvements saw their weekend's clash with Morecambe postponed.

Callum Lang was the saviour with a deft header in extra-time after they couldn't be separated after 90 minutes with Jason Kerr cancelling out Adam Rooney's penalty.

Rochdale travelled to National League promotion chasers Notts County and stung the hosts with a Jake Beesley winner in the 90th minute.

Keith Curle and Paul Cook locked horns with Ipswich coming out on top over Oldham as the all-National League North clash between Altrincham and Gateshead went in the way of the visitors, in an enthralling encounter that saw the North East side seal the tie in stoppage time through Macaulay Langstaff.

Salford City previously booked their place after edging past Dagenham and Redbridge prior to the draw.
