Fans in stitches as Southgate claps along to Adele alongside Samuel L Jackson
ENGLAND boss Gareth Southgate sent social media into meltdown after he was seen clapping along to Adele during an ITV concert special.
The music star, 30, was performing at the London Palladium in An Audience with Adele with a number of A-list celebrities watching on.
And one clip from the show has left fans in stitches during her rendition of Rolling in the Deep.
Southgate clapped along to the track alongside the likes of Samuel L Jackson, Stormzy and even Arsenal chief Josk Kroenke.
Other famous faces standing next to the group included David Tennant, Daniel Kuluuya and Hannah Waddingham.
Commenting on the short video, one user tweeted: "Josh Kroenke dancing to Adele… with Gareth Southgate behind him and Samuel L. Jackson next to him... I have seen it all now."
Another quipped: "Southgate looking for Maguire replacement."
Speaking of Southgate, a third joked: "His reaction is killing me. He doesn't want to be there at all."

A fourth added: "Southgate looks like he's just come back from a game."
Meanwhile one stated: "Gareth is as awkward as I would be. Samuel Jackson is cool, I’ll just clap like he does!"
During the performance, Southgate thanked Adele for her support during Euro 2020, with the 15-time Grammy winner posting a video a video of herself celebrating Harry Kane's semi-final winner against Denmark
Adele told Southgate: “I loved watching you this summer. It was one of the best.”
He replied: “Thank you for your support. We saw the videos of you getting quite into it.”
He then asked who she would most like to collaborate with, to which she said: "Daniel Kuluuya. Obviously I’m not an actress, but I just think that you are the greatest actor.
“I really, really do. I am mesmerised by you and your work.”
She then turned to Southgate to say: "And you, if you want to sign me as a footballer.”
