It’s that time of year, the FIFA cycle is back yet again, with the usual excitement about player ratings, new features and most importantly, release dates.

FIFA’s late-September revamp is a marked in the calendars of many a football fan, as they are able to emulate their favourite stars in an evermore realistic notion.

The game has several new and important features this year, with the addition of crossplay (across latest PC, Stadia, Xbox and PlayStation models), which allows different console players to compete in 1v1 matches (Division Rivals, FUT Champions etc).

It is a long awaited addition, but still won’t allow users to crossplay pro-clubs, which requires more players.

The football simulation game, which has been staple since its first release in the 90s, is now multi-faceted - and can be accessed through a number of different mediums.

One of which, the Web App, allows FIFA players to access their clubs, open packs and organise their squads without actually playing the game.

For purchasers of the Ultimate Edition, the Web App becomes available a few days before the full release of the game, and the developers EA Sports are likely to stick to a similar schedule this year.

EA have confirmed via their website that the Web App will be released on the September 21st.

In FIFA 22, the Web App was released on September 22nd, with the full version becoming available to players on September 28th.

Alongside this, the FIFA 23 companion app is likely to be available shortly after the release of the Web App, with it becoming available just one day afterwards last edition.

The main features of the Web and Companion Apps are, according to dexerto.com: manage your FUT 23 squads, apply consumables, complete squad building challenges, claim Squad Battles, Division Rivals, and FUT Champions rewards, buy and sell players on the Transfer Market, open FUT Packs and recover quick sold players.
