Free National Trust passes on offer this autumn
The season is changing, but it's not time to hole up for winter yet. This autumn the National Trust is offering free single-use passes to help people get out and about.
The passes are valid between September 18 and October 20, 2023. They allow holders entry to many National Trust places across the UK.
The National Trust said there "a select number" available. They allow free entry for two adults and up to three children, one adult and up to four children, or two adults on their own.
It said: "Some places we look after may be busier at certain times and on certain days, which you may want to keep in mind before visiting. Weekdays are usually quieter than weekends and the peak time for arrivals is usually late morning or early afternoon."
The National Trust added that some of its places required advance booking to visit. It said pass holders should check the webpage of the venue they wanted to visit.
When pre-booking online, select the free member’s ticket option and use the code ESCAPEINTOAUTUMN2023 when asked for your membership number. Some National Trust places are exempt from this offer, so pass-holders should check before planning their visit.
