House Of Games Line-Up This Week
It's time for another week of mind-bending fun on Richard Osman's House of Games. This week's celebrity contestants are comedian Toussaint Douglass, Mark Foster, Sheree Murphy and Sian Williams.
Viewers might not know Toussaint Douglass yet but they will soon. The London-based stand-up is a rising star on the comedy circuit with a gentle but sharp and persuasive style. He talks about his life and politics and has a quirky, offbeat take on life which has seen him positively compared to Richard Ayoade.
He has been a regular in comedy compeitions and has been a finalist in, among others, the 2Northdown New Act Competition 2019, the Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian of the Year 2018, the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year 2018 and the Get-Up, Stand-Up New Act Competition 2018.
If his face is familiar that's because he has been notching up numerous TV appearances too. on shows including Late Night Mash (DAVE), Outsiders (DAVE), Bamous (BBC), Hypothetical (DAVE), Comedians Giving Lectures (FAVE), Unforgivable (DAVE) and Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled (DAVE).
Toussaint will be up against TV presenter Sian Williams. The Welsh newsreader and presenter should be good at mind games - she is also a psychologist. Williams joined BBC News 24 as an output editor before the channel's launch in 1997. During screen tests one potential presenter became unwell and Williams was asked to step into the role. She did so well they offered her the prime presenting slot of 4pm to 7pm alongside Gavin Esler.
Swimmer Mark Foster competed in the sixth series of Strictly Come Dancing with professional dancer Hayley Holt.
Former Emmerdale star Sheree Murphy came second place in the fifth series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in 2005 and competed in the 2015 series of Celebrity MasterChef.
