Inside Nina Sosanya's career from Doctor Who and Love Actually to Killing Eve
British television actress Nina Sosanya is known for appearing on English stages, television, film and radio.
The 52-year-old actress was born in Islington in London to a Nigerian father and English mother. Nina measures at an average height of 1.73m and her full name is Oluwakemi Nina Sosanya.
She has been acting since 1992 and is currently appearing in Channel 4's prison dramedy Screw, alongside Derry Girls' Jamie-Lee O'Donnell. The prison drama is filmed in Glasgow at the fictional Long Marsh prison.

Nina has acted in many popular titles after her first big break in acting came from a role in the National Theatre's Anthony and Cleopatra.
After appearing on stage, Nina starred in the 2001 to 2006 Channel 4 series Teachers. She went on to appear in other BBC dramas such as People Like Us, Casanova, Silk, Twenty Twelve, Hustle and Sorted.
The 56-year-old has appeared in British rom-com classic Love Actually as head of the staff to Hugh Grant's prime minister, and in Much Ado About Nothing, and contrastingly - a Doctor Who episode called Fear Her.
For her main roles, Nina is known for starring in the BBC dramas W1A in 2014 and Last Tango in Halifax from 2012 to 2015.
Nina is also known for the role of Jess in BBC's drama Killing Eve alongside Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh. Nina also played DCI Laura Porter in ITV's Marcella, and appeared in The Bill, BBC's His Dark Materials and now axed TV adaptation Brave New World.
Nina keeps her personal life private so it is not known whether she has a husband, partner of any kind, or whether she is divorced or single.
Going without a Twitter, Instagram and Facebook profile, she appears to have no social media.
Nina has acted in straight and gay roles as well as roles where her character is pregnant such as in Killing Eve and Last Tango in Halifax.
In an interview with the Evening Standard in January 2018, however, Nina did say that she had no children at the time.
