Kim Kardashian's Arsenal link - and fans previously made ridiculous swipe at her
The last person anyone expected to see at an Arsenal match is Kim Kardashian.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was spotted at The Emirates on Thursday night for their Europa League clash with Sporting Lisbon.
Kim was cheering on the Gunners from the stands along with her son Saint West, who is surprisingly a major fan of the Premier League side.
Embracing the cold London temperatures, Kim and Saint watched as Arsenal drew 1-1 with the Portuguese side before crashing out of the competition with a defeat on penalties.
So why exactly was Kim as the Arsenal game?
Kim was said to be filming a secret documentary, but the the premise of the project is yet to be disclosed.
Ahead of the game, Kim took to her Instagram Stories to share snaps of an official programme alongside a massive collection of Prime energy drink bottles – the official sponsor of the Gunners.
The star simply captioned the photo, "Send help", followed by a red SOS emoji.
Kim revealed her son's love for Arsenal when she shared an Instagram post from her daughter Chicago West's birthday party in January this year.
Saint, seven, was seen proudly wearing his Gunners strip while posing with his mum - and fans were quick to point it out.
Commenting on Kim's Instagram post, which has more than 2million likes, one person wrote: "Omg Arsenal supporter," adding a praise hands emoji.
It's not the first time Kim has had a run-in with Arsenal fans - and she was jokingly mocked for a ridiculous reason.
Back in May 2019, Arsenal supporters were trying to get Kim to help resolve the Henrikh Mkhitaryan's Europa League final row.
Mkhitaryan did not travel with the squad to Baku for the final against Chelsea, because his safety couldn't be guaranteed due to political tensions stretching back three decades between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Gunners fans were exploring every possible option and tried to get Kim to help her fellow Armenian.
One user tweeted: "Hi Kim, not sure if this message will find you but, if it does, do you think you could help support Armenia’s football captain? He’s had to pull out of a final because he’s Armenian. Is there a way you could help Henrikh? Thanks."
Another asked: "Did u aware your brother from armenia @HenrikhMkh won't be playing in europa league final because of old history of war between armenia and Azerbaijan (baku) and the world is silent. Peace to the world."
