Laura Whitmore wears second hand eBay outfit for Love Island final
Laura Whitmore stunned Love Island fans by revealing that the attention-grabbing outfit she wore for Monday's final was in fancy a second hand find from eBay.
As she has been for the last two years, the Irish presenter was at the helm of the live broadcast as viewers at home picked their 2022 winners from Gemma and Luca, Tasha and Andrew, Indiyah and Dami and Ekin-Su and Davide and in the end, it was Ekin-Su and Davide who triumphed.
And, rather than have to decide between 'love or money' after their winning moment, the couple knew they'd be getting a 50/50 split right from the start of the show, after Laura announced the 'split or steal' twist had been axed.

The news did not go down well with Love Island fans online and just like Laura's big announcement at the top of the show, her final outfit also became a real talking point online. Laura looked absolutely sensational in a multi-coloured floral jumpsuit, with spaghetti straps and flared slit trousers and, while she didn't reveal how much it cost, she was happy to admit that rather than it coming from some high end boutique, it was actually from eBay.
Posting pictures of herself posing up a storm in the jumpsuit to her Instagram, Laura wrote "Right let’s do this…. I found this preloved Archive @versace scrolling through @ebay_uk and knew it was my finale look!! Me and @emmalanestylist had a lot of fun planning this one!"
The reaction to Laura's pictures and eBay confession was huge. Last year's Love Island finalist Faye Winter told her: "Unreal," while Cara Delivigne described the look as "Ridiculously amazing!!!" Singer Anastacia also got in on the comments, writing: "Done and done."
