Leicester City v Brighton live match updates
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of Leicester City's Premier League clash with Brighton.
After four straight defeats, Brendan Rodgers' side are truly in the battle at the bottom. Going into Saturday's game against the Seagulls, they not only sit two points above the relegation zone, but also two points above 20th place.
They need wins, and fast. Unfortunately, they are now taking on a side who handed them one of their heaviest defeats of the campaign in the reverse fixture, with City hitting new lows in their 5-2 loss at the Amex Stadium. Brighton, as they were then, are still up and challenging around the European positions.
The good news for City is that they can call on two of their most important players. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and James Maddison are both expected to be back in the squad today, the latter likely from the bench after two months without a competitive game. New signing Victor Kristiansen is not eligible to feature, but will be present at the game.
We are live at the King Power Stadium to bring you action, analysis, and reaction. Kick-off is at 3pm, with team news to come from 2pm.
