Martin Kemp and son Roman divide Saturday Kitchen viewers just seconds into show
Martin Kemp and his son Roman Kemp have divided the opinions of Saturday Kitchen Live viewers. The pair appeared on the latest edition of the BBC cooking show and caused a stir as they donned matching outfits.
On Saturday (May 4), Matt Tebbutt returned to present another instalment of Saturday Kitchen Live. On the latest edition, he was joined by the likes of Spandau Ballet’s Martin, 62, broadcaster Roman, 31, and wine expert Helen McGinn.
After being introduced, Roman immediately took over the proceedings and announced: “Right, I’m going to start with the elephant in the room. I said this morning ‘Dad, I’m going in today I’m going to wear a nice dark navy blue shirt, it’s going to have that little texture to it’.
“He says, ‘yeah, alright, cool, see you later’. He turns up in the exact same,” the former Capital FM Breakfast Show presenter continued. “That is something that has really done me over, so thank you very much for that.”
In an attempt to swiftly move on from the wardrobe blunder, Martin said: “Well anyway, what did you say, Matt?” However, the studio erupted into fits of laughter upon finding out the 50-year-old had only asked if the pop star was well.
