Moment Scottish Premiership match stopped as fans release BEACH BALLS onto pitch

HEARTS secured European football next season with a 4-2 win over Livingston last week.

They have had a terrific season, with captain Lawrence Shankland even picking up the PFA Player of the Year Award.

And their fans were in party mode this weekend as they faced fellow top six side Dundee at Tynecastle.

And less than 10 minutes into the game the crowd decided to show their excitement of playing in Europe next season as they released BEACH BALLS onto the field of play.

The incident disrupted the game as Nick Walsh asked keeper Craig Gordon to remove them from around his box.

The stand displayed a large tifo before kick off reading 'glorious Hearts' with a few players depicted on the front of playing cards.

The display was a nod to next season's European ambitions as the crowd cheers the side out of the tunnel.

The Jambos took the lead just after half an hour into the game through Kenneth Vargas to dent Dundee's hopes of finishing above St Mirren.

The Paisley side do already have a healthy goal difference lead over Tony Docherty's men however.

Meanwhile, Celtic hero Matt O’Riley admits his penalty vs Rangers was ‘s***’ as he says he needs to have ‘bigger balls’

The midfielder scored the Hoops' opening goal in the derby clash to get the home side up and running.

And he was awarded the man of the match after the final whistle as his team ran out 2-1 winners.

The win all but clinches the Premiership title for Brendan Rodgers' men with just two games to go and six points clear of Rangers.

But O'Riley's day could have been better had he netted his spot kick past Jack Butland.

Instead the Danish international had his weak effort saved by the keeper before admitting after the game that his penalty was 's***.'
