Mourinho concedes six goals in game for first time as Roma lose to Bodo/Glimt
Jose Mourinho has conceded six goals in one match for the first time as a manager after Roma's shock defeat to Bodo/Glimt.
The Serie A side took on Norwegian Bodo/Glimt in the Europa Conference League on Thursday night. Mourinho named a slightly weakened side and Erik Botheim and Patrick Berg put the hosts two goals ahead after 20 minutes.
Carles Perez pulled one back for Roma on 28 minutes but Botheim bagged another just after half-time. Ola Solbakken got a second-half brace, while Amahl Pellegrino hit another as Bodo/Glimt ran out 6-1 winners.
It was Mourinho's 1008th match of his managerial career. This is the first time he has ever managed a team that has conceded six goals in a single game in a 21-year managerial career that began with Benfica in 2000.
Roma are now second in their group in the Conference League.
It was a bad night for Mourinho's former side Tottenham too, as they lost 1-0 away from home against Vitesse in the same competition.
