New pictures emerge of plane crash which shut major road for hours
THE fire service has shared new images from the scene of a plane crash, which shut a major Wiltshire road for most of Thursday.
The light aircraft overshot the runway at Cotswold Airport, with the pilot and a passenger escaping without serious injury.
They were taken to hospital as a precaution, say police.
Emergency services were called to the A429 in Kemble.

One of the responders was a fire crew from Stratton St Margaret Fire Station in Swindon.
In a post on Twitter, the station wroted: "Yesterday we attended a light aircraft that crashed landed and subsequently crashed through airport perimeter fencing and came to rest in trees on the Wilts Gloucestershire border.
"Both occupants were extricated with what was believed to be minor injuries but conveyed to hospital."
A large response from fire crews at the scene
South Western Ambulance Service sent out an update on Thursday night.
A spokesperson for the service said: "We sent two double-crewed land ambulances, an operations officer, a rapid response vehicle, a critical care car and an air ambulance.
"We have conveyed one patient to Great Western Hospital and one patient to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, both by land ambulance."
