Olly Murs to play in Bournemouth on 2023 tour

Olly Murs has announced that he will be heading out on tour in spring 2023, following the release of the first single from his upcoming album. The former 'The X Factor' contestant recently signed to EMI Records, and will be releasing his seventh studio album - the first in four years - titled 'Marry Me' on December 2.

The pop star has recently been spending more time on our screens that on our radios, having been front and centre as the host of ITV's Starstruck, and returning to the big swivelling chair for The Voice. After being off the radar of the pop scene for four years, the musician is bursting back to onto the scene to share his eleven-track album with the world.

The first single of the album, pop-reggae outlier 'Die Of A Broken Heart', was released today, October 7. Olly has teased those who have not yet listened to his latest release by saying: "It has that steel drum at the intro, which just gets in your head straight away."

Olly added: "It has a very Gotye, 'Somebody I Used to Know' feel to it, with a touch of The Police – and just a coolness to it. That really excited me."

To celebrate the release of his upcoming album, Olly is set to hit the road on a UK arena tour in spring 2023. With support from Scouting For Girls, Olly will spend two weeks in April and May performing for his fans across the country, and will be coming Dorset's way for a date in Bournemouth.
