Paul Pogba drops cryptic 'see you soon' message to Paulo Dybala, who is set to leave Juventus

There are a high number of top quality free agents this summer, starting with Kylian Mbappe.

Behind Mbappe, two of the best free agents on the market are Paul Pogba and Paulo Dybala, two former Juventus teammates.

Dybala played his final home game for Juventus on Monday evening in a 2-2 draw in Turin against Lazio.

His former teammate Paul Pogba sent Dybala a message congratulating him on his spell at Juventus, and also left a mysterious ‘see you soon’ message.

Pogba is expected to leave Manchester United as a free agent, and he has been strongly linked with Juventus.

Sky Sports report Pogba’s agent, now Rafaela Pimenta, has been holding talks with Juventus over a free transfer, for the second time.

Juventus appear like Pogba’s most likely destination, but he won’t be reuniting with Dybala. The Argentine had announced his intention to depart the club at the weekend.

Pogba is yet to declare his intentions, and his message to Paulo Dybala at least opens up the remote possibility of the pair linking up at Old Trafford.

This is pretty unlikely though, with United unlikely to retain Pogba’s services. And alleged interest from United in Dybala has not been overly reliable.

ESPN reported at the end of April that Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle had all been in touch with Dybala’s representatives. But this could have been Dybala’s agents reaching out to United, rather than the other way around.

It would be a surprise if the forward pitched up at Old Trafford, having turned down the chance to move to the club in 2019, with United calling off pursuit after Dybala made clear he did not want to join, The Guardian reported.

It will be interesting to see where Dybala signs next, and if he ends up at the same club as Pogba, or whether the pair simply cross paths in Turin as the Frenchman arrives and the Argentine departs.
