Rangers suffered their third straight defeat without scoring after losing 3-0 at home to Napoli in the Champions League on Wednesday and yet, there seems to be a sense of some hope restored at Ibrox.

Giovanni Van Bronckhorst’s outfit were holding their own against the Italian side until a second half sending-off for James Sands and Luciano Spaletti’s men went on to complete a comfortable win.

The Light Blues face an out-of-sorts Dundee United at Ibrox this afternoon and will be targeting this as a must-win encounter as they look to put a dent in Celtic’s lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.

A minute’s silence will be held before a rendition of the national anthem prior to kick-off to honour the Queen after she passed away last week.

Scottish Express Sport has all the details of the game:

When and where will Rangers vs Dundee United take place?

The game takes place at Ibrox on Saturday, September 17 with an 3pm kick-off time.

What channel is Rangers vs Dundee United?

The match has not been chosen by Sky Sports for live coverage.

Will there be a live stream of Rangers vs Dundee United?

SPFL clubs are no longer allowed to sell non-televised games as a pay-per-view option after a temporary agreement with Sky Sports.

However, RangersTV will be broadcasting the game live for fans outside of the UK and Ireland.

Rangers have no fresh injury concerns ahead of Saturday’s clash.

Allan McGregor, who saved two penalties against Napoli, could retain his place in goal ahead of Jon McLaughlin while James Sands and Connor Goldson are expected to line-up in the middle of defence.

Interim Dundee United boss Liam Fox should also have the same players available that earned a hard-earned point against Motherwell earlier this month.

Who is the referee?

Kevin Clancy has been appointed to take charge at Ibrox and he will be assisted by Alastair Mather and Graham McNellie.
