Rangers vs Kilmarnock team news as Gio van Bronckhorst makes four changes
Gio van Bronckhorst has selected his Rangers team to face Kilmarnock - and Alfredo Morelos has been named on the bench.
But there's no place for Ryan Kent, who remains sidelined ahead of Tuesday's must-win Champions League qualifying clash with Union SG. The Light Blues are looking to bounce back from their miserable 2-0 defeat in Belgium as they host their first Premiership game of the season at Ibrox.
Kent and long-term crock Morelos both missed the clash with Union SG but van Bronckhorst expressed his hope that the pair would be available for Tuesday night's return leg. Kent faces a race against time to be fit for the tie but Morelos has given himself a huge chance by being included in today's matchday squad.
Antonio Colak leads the line against Killie but it's expected Morelos will be given some game time in the second half as he looks to make his first appearance since March.
Jon McLaughlin came under fire for conceding a soft opener against Union but keeps his place between the sticks ahead of Allan McGregor.
Ridvan Yilmaz makes his starting debut, while Steven Davis, Tom Lawrence and Scott Wright have also been included in the starting XI. They take the places of Borna Barisic, Glen Kamara, Ryan Jack and Rabbi Matondo.
