Speaking to Woman & Home magazine, she said: “I keep my private life private – mainly to protect Tushaan.”

She added: “I struggle with an enormous amount of guilt with my son and not being there when he goes to school.

“We’re very attached to one another because it’s just me and him.”

Ranvir also revealed that she would only speak about the split if there was a good reason.

She said: “But for me, there would have to be a wider purpose for discussing it.”

Speaking on Good Morning Britain in 2019, Ranvir confirmed the split while discussing her Strictly Come Dancing appearance.

Ben Shephard, her co-host, asked her if she was worried about the ‘curse.’

In a later segment, the hosts were discussing checking a partner’s phone and she appeared to imply she had experience with the issue.

Ranvir said: “I have looked at it [his phone] once.”

“Is that why you’re no longer together?” Ben asked.

Without revealing too much, Ranvir responded: “I can’t answer that question.

“But I have always thought that if you ever felt you need to do that, then the relationship is over because you obviously don’t trust that person.”

She added: “I found something that needed addressing.

"So I would say you think you don’t need to do it until you do.”

Ranvir will soon host a new ITV game show called Ridiculous which is based on solving riddles.
