Since joining on a free transfer in September 2023, Sam Clucas has been a stalwart in the Millers midfield, and his thunderbolt at AESSEAL New York Stadium earlier this season was just the icing on the cake to earn him the 2023/24 Goal of the Season award, sponsored by The Fire House Group.

Clucas comfortably saw off competition from Jordan Hugill’s strikes against Southampton and Preston North End, as well as Christ Tiehi’s Ipswich equaliser and Seb Revan’s recent curling effort against Millwall.
