Richie Anderson teases BBC Strictly Come Dancing performance ahead of first show
West Midland star Richie Anderson has dropped a clue on what fans can expect from his first Strictly Come Dancing performance. The Brummie broadcaster took to Twitter to say he was ready for the dancefloor, and hinted at some exciting looks, praising the Strictly costume and hair "geniuses."
And he even joked he had "all the gear [and] no idea." He also said he couldn't wait to meet his partner and was ready to dance "his little heart out."
Richie, a West Brom fan, will make history as only the second star to be in a same-sex couple. The move had people on social media linking him with Johannes Radebe, who featured in a same-sex couple last year.

Richie wrote on Twitter today, Saturday, September 17: "All the gear, no idea. BBC Strictly 2022 launch night Friday 23rd September. Can’t wait to meet my partner and dance my little heart out.
"Also, shout out to the #Strictly make-up, costume and hair geniuses, what a job they do."
The 20th series of the BBC show has been delayed by a week because of Queen Elizabeth II's funeral taking place on September 19. The TV competition was due to return to screens on September 17 but the launch show will now air on September 23 followed by the first live show on September 24.
The new series will see 15 celebrity contestants - including TV presenter Helen Skelton, EastEnders actor James Bye and former England footballer Tony Adams - taking to the dance floor.
The celebrity line-up this year includes Ted Lasso actress Ellie Taylor, Paralympic swimming gold medallist Ellie Simmonds, Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps actor Will Mellor, Loose Women star Kaye Adams and Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh. They are joined by Bros singer Matt Goss, Kiss radio host Tyler West, Britain's Got Talent finalist Molly Rainford, comedian and actress Jayde Adams, Wildlife cameraman and presenter Hamza Yassin and BBC Radio 2's Richie Anderson.
