Ryan Lowe resigns and Argyle appoint Steven Schumacher
While Storm Barra batters Plymouth this morning, speculation has been swirling about the future of Plymouth Argyle manager Ryan Lowe.
The 43-year-old has emerged as the bookies' odds-on favourite to become the new boss of Preston North End.
Preston, who are 18th in the Championship, are seeking a successor to head coach Frankie McAvoy, who was dismissed yesterday.

And sources in Lancashire believe Lowe could be the man that North End want to appoint.
Lowe has strong links to the north-west of England. He comes from Liverpool, spent a lot of his playing days in that part of his country and started his managerial career at Bury.
He has secured two promotions as a manager, both from League Two, first with Bury in 2018/19 and then Argyle the following season.
