Rylan Clark joins dating app Tinder after split from husband Dan
RYLAN Clark left the Attitude Awards on Wednesday with a mystery man – and the telly favourite is on Tinder too.
In the clearest sign yet his marriage to Dan Neal is over for good, Rylan now has a profile on the dating app.
He wrote in his Tinder bio: “Tall normal bloke – 6’4” – am I actually on this thing?”
The magazine awards bash, which were held at North London’s Roundhouse, marked Rylan’s first public night out following a four-month break from work and away from the spotlight after his marriage broke down.
While Rylan has already got back in the saddle by setting up that Tinder account, he joked that he would be joining gay dating app Grindr too.
Making light of his break-up as he came on to the stage slightly late to present an award, he told the audience: “Sorry, I was a little bit distracted.
“I was trying to download Grindr. It’s been ten years! What a year.”
Rylan was there to present Steps with the mag’s Icon Award.
And he singled out one unnamed member of the group – believed to be his close friend Claire Richards – for helping him through a tumultuous period in his private life.
Rylan said: “On a personal level, one of the members of this band is like my big sister and for the past four months – probably through the toughest time of my life – she has been there for me.
“Without her I probably wouldn’t be giving this award out tonight.”
Break-ups are never easy and it is great to see Rylan back on the showbiz scene.
He had no shortage of male attention at the bash, where he let loose with some mates.
Whether he wants to find a new partner or play the field for a while first, those dating apps are bound to be buzzing with offers.
