Parklife, the UK's biggest metropolitan festival, will see thousands descend on Heaton Park this weekend.
Kicking off on June 10 and 11, the sell-out event will see headline performances from The Prodigy, Little Simz and Rudimental.
The homegrown two-day festival started off from humble beginnings and has grown to become one of the biggest dates in the city's cultural calendar.

Predominately a festival of dance and electronic music, as well as featuring pop and hip-hop artists, it started life in the Noughties as Mad Ferret Festival and was held in Platt Fields, Rusholme.
In 2010, it changed its name to Parklife Festival and remained in Platt Fields until the growing crowds prompted its relocation to Heaton Park in 2013.
