Spoilers: Guilty Dev makes Aadi a surprising offer in Corrie
Coronation Street viewers were left in shock watching the Alahan’s car explode after the prison van crash.
To make matters worse, before that, Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) made the heart-breaking decision to pull Asha (Tanisha Gorey) from the car first, leaving them both terrified Aadi (Adam Hussain) had died when the car burst into flames.
Fortunately, Aadi had made it out of the car in time, with the knowledge his father had chosen his daughter over his son.
Coming up, as Aadi continues his recovery, he confides in Summer (Harriet Bibby) that his dad saved Asha but left him to die.
Unaware of what Aadi knows but worried about his son, Dev offers him the role of assistant manager across the Alahan empire.
Later on, a tearful Aadi tells Summer that Dev’s job offer is his way of apologising for leaving him to die.
Convinced Asha has always been Dev’s favourite, Aadi decides to accept the offer.
Dev is thrilled, but how long can Aadi play happy families?
How will Dev feel when Aadi eventually opens up about the car crash and the isolation he continues to feel?
