Strictly fans want to give Dianne Buswell 'a hug' after heartbreaking moment

Strictly Come Dancing fans want to give pro dancer Dianne Buswell 'a hug' after a heartbreaking moment on Sunday's results show.
During the episode amid the iconic Blackpool week, Dianne, 34, and celebrity dance partner Bobby Brazier found themselves in the dreaded dance-off against Angela Rippon. Angela, 79, and pro partner Kai Widdrington performed their American Smooth to Tea For Two by Ella Fitzgerald while Bobby, 20, and pro partner Dianne performed their Jive to Wake Me Up Before You Go Go by Wham!
However, despite both couples dancing beautifully, the judges unanimously decided to save Bobby and Dianne, meaning Angela and Kai would be leaving the competition. As the judges gave their feedback, Dianne could be seen sobbing as she broke down in tears in a heartbreaking moment.
Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers were left concerned for the pro dancer. One person said: "CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HUG DIANNE FOR ME #Strictly!", a different account put: "Dianne #strictly" with crying emojis, another viewer wrote: "#Strictly Dianne aww, bless her!", a different show watcher said: "Hope Dianne is alright she looked like she was in bits #Strictly" while another fan added: "Naww seeing dianne cry was too much for me #strictly!"
Elsewhere, viewers were left 'absolutely fuming' that Bobby and Dianne were in the dance-off, especially as they finished midway on the leaderboard with 35 points on Saturday night. And when Bobby and Dianne's name was called for the dance-off, their fellow co-stars couldn't contain their shock with Annabel Croft admitting there was a "huge gasp" everywhere.
Taking to social media, fans expressed their frustration with one person writing: "How on EARTH he was in the dance-off is beyond me. One of the best of the night!!!!!", a different account put: "IM SORRY HE WAS IN THE DANCE OFF!!!!!!!!!!!", another viewer said: "I'm absolutely fuming who was in the dance off when he was way better than others ffs" while a different fan added: "Not sure why Bobby was in the dance off!"
Craig Revel Horwood said of his choice to save Bobby: "Well, there’s a standout performance for me that I can’t ignore and the couple that I would like to save are Bobby and Dianne" while Motsi Mabuse explained her decision: "I felt that both couples danced so beautifully. Really one of the most beautiful dance-offs we have had. I am going to save Bobby and Dianne."
Elsewhere, Anton Du Beke said: "Well again, I thought it was a marvellous dance-off. Both couples danced very, very well. I thought Bobby and Dianne danced excellently again. I thought that Angela and Kai’s dance was beautiful and Angela even thanked one of the other dancers for lifting her and putting her down so gracefully which I thought was absolutely beautiful. For me the couple I would like to save are Bobby and Dianne" while Head Judge, Shirley Ballas, added: "I would also have saved Bobby and Dianne!"
