Strictly's Giovanni says chef should be 'arrested' for Fleur's Blackpool dinner

Giovanni Pernice says chef should be 'arrested' for fellow Strictly star Fleur East's dinner in Blackpool. Even pro-dancer Vito Coppola jabbed they should 'go to prison'.

Giovanni shared the funny clip to his Instagram story. The pro-dancer and other Strictly Come Dancing stars were enjoying a meal out in Blackpool last night, November 17.

Fleur was served up her carbonara with mushrooms in and this did not go down well with Italians Giovanni, Vito and Graziano Di Prima. The three ranted at the camera as they said, "You kill the carbonara."

The video began with a suave Giovanni as the three dancers all wore all-black, he said: "It's not just me then, if the three of us say the same thing. You can't put mushrooms-" Giovanni was cut-off by Fleur's dance-partner Vito who picked up the dish to say: "You can't put mushroom in the carbonara."

The three shook their head as Giovanni said: "That's wrong." Vito continued: "You kill the carbonara and I'm feeling really bad." Giovanni then even said: "Where's the chef? Has to be arrested. Where's the chef? There's no good chef." Shaking their heads and wagging their fingers, the dancers laughed as they said "forbidden".

On The X Factor star Fleur's Instagram story, she showed the mushroom-filled carbonara in question before saying: "I've just ordered carbonara and Vito's very upset, why?" Sitting opposite her at the table, the pro-dancer said: "No, I'd prefer not to speak about it." Graziano then shouts from another table: "No mushroom!"

Vito explains: "They put mushroom in carbonara." Traditionally, an Italian carbonara is made with spaghetti, guanciale, black pepper, eggs and pecorino Romano. Not with mushrooms. But it wasn't just the pasta that upset Vito as Fleur shared another clip.

The singer asks: "So what you saying about pizza and pineapples?" Vito says: "I mean carbonara I can a little bit accept but pizza with pineapple on top? You can go to prison. Yeah, I will take you and go to the jail because the pineapple on the pizza - I don't want to eat anymore." Fleur laughs at him being dramatic as she calls him "so extra".
