Strictly's Oti and Motsi Mabuse's sister who has shunned the limelight

Strictly Come Dancing fans are very aware of Oti Mabuse and sister Motsi Mabuse but many don’t know of their secret third sister - who is claimed to be the best dancer of the three.

Oti Mabuse, 30, is one of Strictly’s biggest success stories having won the competition twice in a row with a celebrity partner. She’s also earned a role as a judge on The Masked Dancer.

On Instagram, she has an army of followers and during Strictly Come Dancing she often posts photos with her sister Motsi Mabuse, 40, who is, of course, a judge on the BBC dance contest.

Our colleagues at MyLondon report there’s a third Mabuse sister called Phemelo Mabuse. She is 35, an MBA graduate who works as a mechanical engineer, building windmills in their native South Africa.

Speaking on the Jonathan Ross show recently, Oti revealed: "To be honest, we have another sister, middle sister, she was the better dancer.

"She's a mechanical engineer [now]. She designs windmills which create electricity through wind in South Africa."

Despite her important engineering work, Phemelo has kept her toes in the dancing world.

She emerged victorious in Latin American & Ballroom in the Juvenile, Junior and Youth categories and also represented South Africa four times at the World Dance Sport Championships.

She also teaches dance in Pretoria and Johannesburg.

Fans often remark on Instagram that the sisters look very similar and Oti has said they share the ‘same nose’.

Recently on Instagram, Phemeleo commented: "I love how my sisters embrace their natural state, it makes them so beautiful to me @motsimabuse @otimabuse."
