Students embrace the Children In Need spirit

Passionate pupils have been getting involved with today’s BBC Children In Need fundraiser.
Students at Cowley Academy in Donington were among those to get into the fundraising spirit with a non-school uniform day in support of the charity.
The annual fundraiser supports children and young people in the UK – with the familiar yellow bear Pudsey as their mascot – enabling children to have the best childhood possible.
Tonight’s appeal show is presented by Lenny Rush and fundraising activities will feature Graham Norton, Doctor Who’s David Tennant and radio presenter Vernon Kay’s ultra marathon challenge.
