Director Taika Waititi and singer Rita Ora have reportedly tied the knot in an ‘intimate’ ceremony in London surrounded by their nearest and dearest.
Thor: Love and Thunder director Taika was seen in a picture on Rita’s sister’s Instagram page wearing a ring on his wedding finger as he relaxed with a glass of wine.
Neither of the stars have spoken publicly about their rumoured marriage, but an insider has claimed the pair have wed and that Rita has changed her name.

The public first got a hint Taika and Rita were dating after the songstress posted a picture of them together.
In a photo dump posted on April 21, 2021, the pair can be seen cuddling.
The caption reads: ‘Good times, memories, random things on my phone and the ones I love..❤️’
April 27, 2021 – A report claims the pair have been dating since March 2021
After the pair were spotted together in Sydney in the same month, a report claimed Taika and Rita had been secretly dating since March 2021.
A source told The Sun: ‘They’ve been a couple since early March but kept things low key.
‘However, all their friends know about the relationship – they’re really into each other.’
May 24, 2021 – The pair are pictured sharing a three-way kiss with Thor star Tessa Thompson
In May 2021, The Daily Mail published leaked photos of Taika and Rita engaging in a three-way kiss with Thor star Tessa Thompson.
Taika responded to the viral photo in July, telling the Sydney Morning Herald he was doing nothing wrong.
He said: ‘I think in the world of the internet, everything goes away pretty quick. And also, ‘is it that big a deal?’ No, not really. I was doing nothing wrong. It’s fine.’
August 2, 2021 – The pair hit the red carpet together for the first time
Taika and Rita made their red carpet debut at the premiere of The Suicide Squad at the Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles.
The pair posed arm in arm as they made their way down the runway, making their relationship official.
Rita attended Taika’s 46th birthday party on August 19, posting a series of cute photos of the pair to her Instagram.

May 23, 2022 – Rita shows support for Taika as Thor: Love and Thunder trailer is released
Following his support of Rita, she praised Taika when the trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder was released in May.
She shared the trailer to her Instagram page, jokingly telling fans to ‘get ready for a quiet little art house film’.
During an appearance on This Morning alongside Chris Evans to promote Lightyear, Taika avoided questions about rumours he and Rita were engaged.
The director pretended there was poor connection during the virtual interview after cohost Phillip Schofield asked whether wedding bells were on the horizon.
Fellow host Holly Willoughby chimed in to say ‘I think he can’t hear us,’ following Phillip’s question.

Wedding rumours have hit a fever pitch with reports claiming Taika and Rita have married in a private ceremony with their nearest and dearest in attendance.
A source told The Sun: ‘Rita ‘didn’t want to make a big song and dance about the wedding.’
‘A big, showbiz-style bash is planned to celebrate, but don’t expect to see it being flogged to the highest-bidding magazine.’
Taika had also been pictured days before the rumours started to circulate wearing what looked to be a wedding band on his finger in a friend’s Instagram story.
