It is finally the most wonderful time of the year and that can mean only one time, you're finally able to wrap up warm, buy a warm cup of fresh mulled wine and browse local market stalls looking for the perfect gifts for your loved ones.
Nothing beats a good festive Christmas market and luckily in Cambridge this year it is Christmas market galore! With a record beating 10 local markets happening throughout the city on different streets, in Churches, science parks, shopping centres, and even ice rinks, Christmas in Cambridge is going to be like nothing else this year!

There will be an afternoon of celebrations and support to the local community of artists on Sunday, November 19 at the Grand Arcade in city centre from 12 until 4.30 pm, in the lead-up to Cambridge City Centre Christmas Lights Switch-On.

Definitely one of the most exciting events on the Cambridge calendar, Mill Road Winter Fair fills up the whole of Mill Road in Cambridge City Centre every year for a day of shopping, delicious food and drink and lots of festive entertainment.
It will include some of the most exciting places in Cambridge City Centre including Milton Road Cemetery, Ditchburn Gardens, Cambridge Mosque, Mill Road Baptist Church and so much more. The roads will close at 9am and the Winter Fair will begin at 10:30am. The fair will run until 4.15pm and roads will fully open at 5:30pm.

Taking place at Cambridge Ice Arena on Newmarket Road, this Christmas Market will have plenty of food, drink, craft and toy stalls as well as plenty of entertainment with the Steve Bolan Big Band playing Christmas classics whilst you skate!
During the Market, there will be optional ice dance lessons available from a professional ice dance coach and ice skating performances to watch as well as an exciting hockey match afterwards. The market will run from 2:30-6pm.

Running from 10am-5pm all days, this Christmas Market will include all of the popular shops and restaurants on the street in central Cambridge that runs between St John's Street and Trinity Street.
Selling handmade crafts by local makers and artists in the heart of Cambridge, this market will be selling everything from unique jewellery and accessories to handcrafted glass, ceramics, wooden homewares, natural botanical skincare and so much more.
A completely FREE market, visitors can browse a different selection of stalls, chat with the real people behind the products and buy limited-edition handmade gifts. It all makes for a friendly, relaxed and festive atmosphere.
Eddington Square will come alive this Christmas with local, independent traders offering a range of bespoke arts and crafts that will make the perfect gift. With warming food and beverages, festive entertainment, and traditional family fun too – this experience will start your seasonal celebrations in style.
The focus of the event is to bring the local community together and there will be complimentary tea and coffee from Brew and music from Get Gospel to set the scene. The market will run from 4pm to 9pm on Friday, 10am to 9pm on Saturday and 10am to 6pm on Sunday. The Eddington Festive Market is free to attend and open to all but you can register your interest in advance here.
Step into a world of festive delights with the Alliance Française before Christmas! Discover their numerous and beautiful stalls that will be selling everything from jewellery, ceramics, gift ideas, candles, francophone world products, but also crêpes, hot chocolate, cakes, tombola, games and a designated children area.

Shop handmade this Christmas at the Local Makers Market Christmas special at Downing Place United Reformed Church. This exciting event will showcase the talents of 40 makers, offering a wide variety of handmade gifts, just in time for Christmas. Explore a diverse range of products, including ceramics, prints, jewellery, candles and much more.
Running from 11am to 4pm, entry to the Makers Market is free but you can reserve a spot on Eventbrite.
Come along to the famous Cambridge Science Park and browse stalls showcasing 40 local businesses, offering a wide range of hand-crafted gifts, and locally produced food & drink. This is the perfect opportunity to kick-start your Christmas shopping and it is open to everyone - you don't have to work at the Park to go.
The weekly foodPark - food trucks offering a variety of delicious street food - will park up alongside the market from 12pm to 2pm for this week only. You can pre-order your food or see what you fancy on the day!
