A fresh and exciting drama will be hitting your screens tonight, and it’s starring some brilliant actors.

Detective drama The Long Call, over on ITV, features Ben Aldridge, Juliet Stevenson, Pearl Mackie, Declan Bennett and Dylan Edwards.

The show is a TV adaptation of a novel by writer Ann Cleeves, which has the same name.

It follows the story of a detective, Matthew Venn, who is investigating a murder in the town he was raised in.

But as details emerge, he is forced to face traumatic events from his own past.

The character of Ross Pritchard joins Matthew as a junior detective on the case.

And if you think you recognise the actor, Dylan Edwards, you’re most likely right. He has previously featured in the sitcom Ideal, as well as comedy shows The Job Lot and Pramface.

And like many actors, he is married to someone very notable from the industry.

Dylan’s wife, Natasha O’Keeffe, 29, has a number of very famous TV roles under her belt.

The actor starred in Peaky Blinders as the iconic Lizzie Stark from 2013-2019, as well as appearing in Grantchester, Law & Order and Sherlock.

She also appeared in Misfits, as the character of Abbey Smith.

But the two didn’t meet on the set of a TV show, nor at an after-hours industry party.

Dylan originally embarked on a design path after completing his A Levels at a factory in Devon, but quickly changed his mind about what career he wanted to strive for.

He then decided to start at Cardiff’s Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama to study acting, and it’s extremely lucky he did.

It was there that he met his now-wife Natasha O’Keffe.

The two have one child together, after a pregnant Natasha was spotted in 2016 at a Peaky Blinders event.

The family now live in Margate, Kent.
