The One Show fans say same thing after 'awkward' Rowan Atkinson interview
The One Show fans were left saying the same thing after Rowan Atkinson was interviews on the BBC programme on Wednesday night (June 22). The Blackadder and Mr Bean star was on the magazine-style show to discuss his new Netflix show Man vs Bee.
But fans of the show were less than impressed as they branded the interview 'awkward'. Vieweers fumed as they accused presenters Jermaine Jenas and Angela Scanlon of "butting in" and not letting the star talk.
They took to Twitter to comment. Jane Maddison said: "Wasted! You had the incredible, talented Rowan Atkinson in the studio and you hardly spoke to him and when you did, you quickly cut him dead! C*** presenting #TheOneShow."
Karen G R wrote: "Please please get some more professional presenters … this is so awkward #theoneshow." David added: "#TheOneShow pointless getting Rowan Atkinson if you ask him a question then keep butting in to try and shut him up!"
Paul echoed: "I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more uncomfortable guest than Rowan Atkinson. The introvert is coming out, clearly not an experience he’s enjoying. #TheOneShow."
The Netflix comedy sees Rowan star as a homeless man looking for work when he is mistaken by a business woman for her new house sitter. Wacky hi-jinks ensue as he tries to take care of this house while pursued by a mischievous bee.
