Unearthed 'texts' between Selling Sunset's Chrishell Stause and Nicole surface

Series six of Selling Sunset was released on Netflix this week, and it brought all the drama we’ve come to adore including a new spat between Chrishell Stause and Nicole Young.

*If you’ve not yet watched all 11 episodes of series six, then be warned that there are some spoilers ahead!*

Nicole, 37, may be new to the reality show, but she’s been a longstanding member of the estate agency that the show is based on – the Oppenheim group.

This means that as well as having plenty of experience selling really flipping expensive houses, she’s got history with some of the other agents, mainly Chrishell, 41.

It took precisely no time for the pair to go head-to-head when Nicole claimed that her castmate ‘took credit’ for her work when she first started at the brokerage.

Chrishell on the other hand fired back this happened years ago, she never took any money from the sale and she believed they were on good terms, so this claim had come out of nowhere.

The cameras may have now stopped rolling, but the drama has continued. Chrishell decided to provide ‘evidence’ that the pair were friendly, by sharing alleged screenshots of text messages between the pair.

She captioned the images: ‘This post goes out to those who love facts.’

Nicole allegedly texted Chrishell on June 21 asking for advice ahead of her show debut. Included in the message is a request for a lunch or happy hour meetup.

She wanted to ‘pick your brain about the countless questions I have about the logistics of the show and also just get your advice on many things show/production related.’

It continued: ‘You’re obviously a pro and have everything show-related figured out, so I’d absolutely love to learn some of your wisdom,’ before adding ‘I’m f*****g terrified.’

Chrishell claims to have responded: ‘Of course!’ The girls then seemingly planned to go for food at some point in the future.

Chrishell, who is now in a relationship with G-Flip, was also frustrated that Nicole claimed their boss Jason Oppenheim’s crush had got her ahead. The pair eventually dated for a few months in 2021, but broke up because Jason didn’t want children. Nicole has also previously been in a relationship with 46-year-old Jason.

‘Jason put Chrishell on my listings because he had a massive crush on her,’ she claimed. ‘You don’t take credit for someone else’s work. That p****d me the f**k off.

‘She’s got listings in the Valley based on my closed sales and my work.’

Having none of it, Chrishell said: ‘A couple of years ago, Jason added both Nicole and I onto a listing, and Nicole didn’t think that I deserved any credit when the house sold because I was a fairly new agent.

‘She felt like she did a lot more work than I did. Even though I did show the house to multiple buyers, and I held open houses.’

We’ll have to wait for series seven to see if they are going to make amends, but the trailer shows that it’s not looking hopeful.
