In a final public show of solidarity at a time of incredible sorrow, the newly titled Prince and Princess of Wales, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex - William, Harry, Kate and Meghan - are together at Queen Elizabeth II's state funeral, to honour the late monarch's life and mourn her death along with the rest of the nation and commonwealth.

On the morning of September 19, guests arrived to Westminster Abbey for a service that started at 11am. Among those guests were heads of state, government representatives and, of course, King Charles III and the rest of the royal family, including his sons Prince William and Prince Harry, along with their wives.

As the coffin made its way from Westminster Hall to Westminster Abbey, topped with the Royal Standard and Imperial State Crown, on the State Gun Carriage of the Royal Navy, King Charles II was joined by his two sons Prince William of Wales, and Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex.

Other guests arriving to Westminster Abbey for the State Funeral included Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, who turned up to the venue in a car with Queen Consort Camilla and her two elder children Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Once inside the Abbey, she was joined by Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, who walked in step with the Princess of Wales, the pair accompanying Prince George and Princess Charlotte - a sight that will have warmed the hearts of many.

After the funeral service had concluded, the Princess of Wales and the Duchess of Sussex could be seen together again, leaving Westminster Abbey in the company of Camilla and Sophie.

As well as the public appearances during the mourning period, the brothers have come together a number of times privately, both as a pair and also on separate occasions with their wives.

On Thursday September 8, both brothers rushed to Balmoral, in Aberdeenshire, to be with the Queen and the rest of their immediate family during her final moments.

On Tuesday September 13, the Queen's coffin, having departed Scotland, arrived in London, where it was brought to Buckingham Palace. Both brothers and their wives were present at the Palace to receive the coffin.

The brothers came together once again on the evening of Saturday September 17, where they stood vigil around Her Majesty's coffin as it Lay in State in Westminster Hall.

In terms of public appearances that the four have made since the Queen's passing, on Saturday September 10, Prince William and Prince Harry, together with their wives, the Duchesses of Cambridge and Sussex, arrived all together to greet members of the public outside Windsor Castle.

The foursome will come together again later today, for a private service at the King George VI’s chapel in Windsor Castle, where the late monarch is due to be buried alongside her husband, Philip, the former Duke of Edinburgh.
