Body of missing girl and paramedics trying to rescue her are found in Gaza

More than 28,000 Palestinians have been killed in four months of conflict, most of them women and children, according to the Hamas-linked Gaza health authorities. The latest victims in Rafah included ten children, the youngest of them three months old. They were among 28 people killed in Israeli air strikes on Friday night. Another child to have been killed was Hind Rajab, a six-year-old girl, who went missing in Gaza last month and whose body was found yesterday, along with the remains of several of her relatives — and those of two paramedics who tried to save her. Rajab’s family had been trying to flee Gaza City when they were reported to have encountered Israeli tanks.
