Boris Johnson urges 'get jabbed to save Christmas' as PM has COVID booster

BORIS Johnson received his booster jab today - as he urges others to get theirs to save Christmas. The PM, 57, rolled up his left sleeve to get his injection from nurse Saffron at London's St Thomas' Hospital - where he was saved from the virus. Speaking after the shot he said: "We're building ever higher the wall of protection. "Whatever Omicron may or may not be able to do it certainly will not negate the overall value of the boosters - so everybody should get your booster as soon." The PM, who said he almost died after being struck down with Covid last year, has previously begged eligible Brits to come forward. He revealed that 18.6million have so far had their third dose - the highest proportion for any country in Europe.
