Boris Johnson: We don't want to cancel Christmas parties over Omicron variant

Boris Johnson has announced plans to offer booster vaccines to everyone over the age of 18 by the end of January. Speaking at a Downing Street press conference on Tuesday afternoon the PM set the target of everyone eligible for a booster to be offered one by that date. Johnson has said the Government does not want people to cancel Christmas parties or nativity plays amid concern about the Omicron variant.
