The Chancellor has defended his budget on Sky News, saying scrapping the lifetime pensions allowance was a move Labour advocated last year. Jeremy Hunt said it would help tackle issues in the NHS where doctors were retiring early due to pension rules. He also hit back when quizzed about the childcare reforms being too late for many parents, saying it was the "biggest transformation" in his lifetime and was being introduced "as quickly as they can."
