'Deadly Tonga Tsunami Leaves Island Totally Cut Off' The Pacific island of Tonga is reeling after the eruption of a massive underwater volcano. A huge cloud of steam, gas and ash shot from the sea, and a tsunami emerged in the aftermath. The eruption was violent enough to send waves crashing towards Hawaii and New Zealand.
